(1) @Yankees: Prior to today’s game, the Yankees made the following roster
moves:
‧ Optioned RHP Cody Morris to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
‧ Reassigned LHP Anthony Misiewicz to minor league camp.
(2) @BryanHoch: Gerrit Cole said that he is dealing with nerve inflammation and
edema. “Three to four weeks no throw, and we’ll go from there.”
“I think we determined that we just got a little too hot a little too quick
this spring.”
(3) @BryanHoch: Gerrit Cole said he is not scheduled to get any PRP injections.
“Just rest and recovery.” Will keep his arm live with plyo exercises, etc.
until he can resume throwing. Said it is too soon to look at the calendar and
circle a return date.
(4) @BryanHoch: After hitting tee-and-toss yesterday, Aaron Judge is scheduled
to resume on-field batting practice today, facing Andy Pettitte.
4.1 @BryanHoch: Aaron Judge opted to perform his batting practice work indoors
today, according to Aaron Boone.
Asked when Judge will return to game action, Boone said: "I'm not going to
predict anymore. I'm not worried about it. We'll see."
